Hunt for the Toy Game -  Fun and easy to play indoors, take your pooch's favorite toy or a put a treat inside a hollow toy and hide somewhere in the house.  Start off with an easy search to begin with and encourage your furry friend at all times.  When the toy is found, give lots of praise and a treat too if Fido isn't on a diet. Gradually make the hunt more difficult by making the hiding places more challenging. Maybe some day your pal can help with finding your keys!

Indoor Tug Game

If your pooch doesn't have a live-in canine playmate to tug with, you can be the playmate. (Don't worry you can grip with your opposable thumbs rather than your teeth!)   Choose a suitable toy, such as a knotted rope or ball on a rope.  It's best to keep the toy low to the ground, so your dog is not encouraged to jump up.  There really aren't any rules, just tug away.  (Be sure you are prepared in event that your pup lets go!)  When you have had enough (We assume it will be you the owner who gives up), place a tasty treat on the end of your dog's nose and he will gladly let go of the toy.
